About Us

Our History

Blue Verve Project started in 2009 as an internal initiative within Sherpani to use recycled materials and do right by people and the planet. In 2020, Blue Verve Project launched as a non-profit organization to build a bigger platform for far-reaching action.  Since our inception, we've recycled nearly 4 million plastic bottles, and we're nowhere near done. Join us as we launch new programs around the world.

Our Inspiration

Our mission was born out of a desire for a restorative relationship between humans and nature.  We believe that everyone has the power to make positive change with the choices we make everyday, and how we raise our voices.  Taking action for the environment isn't just about saving the planet, it's about creating a healthier more prosperous world for all. We want to empower you to be a part of a sustainable future.

 Although we are based in Colorado, over 1,000 miles from the ocean, Blue Verve Project is supported by a vibrant network of businesses, organizations, and individual ocean advocates dedicated to eliminating plastic pollution.  We're always looking to grow our community, so if you're interested in joining please reach out.
